After ironing out a few details, we are glad to report that The Birmingham Art Collective will be at Artwalk this weekend. While mapping out your route, include a stop at The Mission located at 213 24th Street North. A limited number of The Show at Woodlawn t-shirts and handmade posters will be available for purchase, as well as art by Moriah Osborn, Joanna Hamilton,Jason Burgess, and Sara Cannon. In addition, information on Main Street Birmingham’s Blue Market Gallery Design Charette will be on hand for those who are interested in sharing their thoughts regarding how the Blue Market Gallery in Woodlawn can best be used to foster creativity and support the arts in our community.
The Mission is currently being renovated by William & Carrigan, LLC and will be ready for occupants in the near future. Some of this building’s historical uses have been a mason’s lodge, a candy factory, and an agricultural feed store. For more information and to see the space, contact David at david@wcarrigan.com. The Collective is grateful to David for his support of their work and Artwalk.
*And, while you’re in the area, we encourage you to walk across the street to 2nd Row Studios to see more of Sara Cannon’s work. You’ll be glad you did.

A great example of some of the awesome things happening in Woodlawn! Come be a part of the transformation!
